On our first Greece Itinerary stop is the city which is popularly known as the cradle of Western civilization and the birthplace of democracy.

Athens has a great history and it has been inhabited for over 3000 years. The city offers tourists a fascinating mix of historical and modern features which will leave you stuck in the city. The city is known for its archaeological ruins and monuments that you can explore like the popular Acropolis, Ancient Agora, Parthenon, Theatre of Dionysos, and so on. The city has a vibrant vibe and it is considered to be an important center for culture, business, and nightlife in the country.

Santorini is popularly called the diamond of the Aegean and it is among most popular places to visit in Greece. The island features picturesque scenery which attracts thousands of tourists and it is known to be among the most scenic Greek Islands that you can visit.

The island is among the most popular places to go in Greece and some of the best things to do is snorkeling in the turquoise waters, dine at the fine restaurants, and wander around the mesmerizing villages. You can also explore its volcanic beaches and whitewashed houses where you can enjoy mind-blowing sunsets views and panoramic scenery.

The island is filled with some of the best places to swim in Greece and couldn’t be missed from the Greece itinerary, it has a great mix of ancient history, pristine beaches, and quaint towns. There are lots of iconic attractions that you can visit like the Colossus of Rhodes, Acropolis of Lindos, and so on. The island is a great place to go for all type of tourists such as nightcrawlers, nature and history lover, architecture enthusiasts, sun worshippers and so on.

Crete

Crete is regarded as the cradle of modern European civilization and it is a great spot in the Mediterranean that must be on your list of places to visit in Greece and I couldn’t not add it to our Greece Itinerary journey.

The island has a rich mythological and archaeological history which are easily reflected in its ancient ruins and cultural attractions. Some of the top things to do in Crete is to wander around the lovely Old Venetian in Chania Town or visit the Rethymonon monasteries and fortresses. You are also going to find the mind-blowing Minoan ruins that date back to 1900BC and the mind-blowing Mount Ida which the locals believed to house the cave where the mighty Zeus was born.

The next stop to our Greece Itinerary is Mykonos, it is dotted with golden sandy beaches, bright white buildings, and lovely skies which complement each other. The island is picturesque and it is among the most beautiful places that you should put your Greece itinerary.

It is popularly known as the most famous Greek Island in the Aegean Sea. Mykonos has vibrant vibes which attract upscale and diverse crowds that want to enjoy its mind-blowing and stylish nightlife. It is also a great place to go for beach lovers as you will find lots of places to explore here. You can try out a wide variety of water sports on its beaches such as horseback riding, parasailing, skiing, windsurfing, and jet-skiing.

Olympia

Olympia is widely regarded as the birthplace of the Olympic Games and it is a great place not to miss while in Greece, it is rich in history.
